Baltic E-Banking Report 2006-2011 editions now freely available for downloading

In 2003 Metasite research team released the first Baltic E-Banking report – an analytical research study aimed at analyzing, evaluating and benchmarking the e-service offerings of every retail bank present in the Baltic region.

The 280 pages thick, 9000+ datapoints strong annual report quickly turned into a de-facto regional yardstick used by Estonian, Latvian and Lithuanian banks to benchmark themselves against competitors in the areas of e-banking functionality, clarity, convenience and online customer service responsiveness.

Metasite e-banking research team released nine editions of the Baltic E-Banking Report from 2003 till 2011, each year sharing key findings with the Baltic business media and presenting the report at the annual Baltic Financial Forum held in Riga. Eighteen Baltic banks – including Swedbank, SEB, Danske Bank and DNB – were either subscribing to the full versions of the report or purchasing individual country editions.

We have now decided to make the latest six editions of the Baltic E-Banking Report freely available in full as downloadable PDF documents. We believe industry experts and academic researchers may find the historical editions of the report interesting both in terms of methodology and actual data collected.

Note: While we are no longer publishing the annual Baltic e-banking research studies covering all Baltic retail banks, Metasite is routinely engaged by individual banking institutions, insurance companies and consumer finance businesses to carry out client-specific functionality and usability testing and benchmarking assignments.

Metasite UX design and development team is also continuously working with a number of Northern European and Western European financial services organizations, helping them build new and upgrade existing online customer self-service platforms and applications.
