VILNIUS, LITHUANIA, February 15, 2002 – A corporate website of the second largest Lithuanian mobile telecommunications company Bite GSM has been ranked #2 in the Top 10 list of the best websites of the 200 largest Lithuanian enterprises. The website has been developed by Metasite, a leading Lithuanian business and IT consulting company.

The Top 10 list has been compiled and announced by EBIZ.LT, the leading Lithuanian new economy information portal, which thoroughly researched the web presences of 200 largest Lithuanian enterprises during December 2001 – February 2002.

Bite GSM corporate website www.bite.lt was awarded 38.5 points of 45 points possible by the researchers. According to EBIZ.LT, all the websites had been analyzed according to nine principal criteria: loading times, quality of navigation, quality and freshness of content, ease of contacting the right people at the company, multi-language capabilities, quality of visual design, e-commerce capabilities and interactivity, search functionality, and frequency of updates.
