RIGA-TALLINN-VILNIUS, 31 October 2006 – Metasite Business Solutions participated in the annual Banking and Finance in the Baltics 2006 summit in Riga, Latvia, where the key findings from the 2006 Baltic E-Banking Report, the 4th annual pan-Baltic e-banking research study, were be presented by our research team.

Following its official launch at the conference, the 2006 Baltic E-Banking Report is now available for ordering online.

The annual Baltic E-Banking Report analyzes the strengths and weaknesses in every Estonian, Latvian and Lithuanian retail bank’s internet offerings, benchmarking every individual bank against its peers and comparing the 2006 testing results with those of 2005, thus evaluating progress made during the last 12 months by every retail bank. The 2006 Baltic E-Banking Report features 500+ distinct criteria with 18 500 data points recorded in total.

“The success of the Baltic E-Banking Report proves that Baltic retail banks understand the importance of usability in e-banking and recognize its role as a future competitive differentiator”, commented Mr. Vidas Danielius, Head of Business Consulting Services at Metasite Business Solutions. “This year’s report features a whole new section – Mobile Banking, analyzing 240+ new criteria in WAP, SMS, human-operated phone and automated phone banking subcategories. Thus, I believe, this year’s report provides banking executives with an even better view of the ongoing developments in the Baltic e-banking market”, said Mr. Danielius.

Originally launched in 2003, The Baltic E-Banking Report has become a de facto standard for benchmarking the effectiveness and efficiency of e-channel offerings by every Baltic bank and is being subscribed to by all the major Baltic financial services providers as well as individual banks.
